GM and Dodge are pushing for higher octane to get optimal results and power. Although i do use highest octane available in all my vehicles it is just something to think about.

They should be in the class of the Corvette or even the 911 Carrera S. yet the SS falls into the midline performance class. And that is the top line Camaro.

SS and SRT8 are the top of the line in both Challenger and Camaro. GT is the midline. what does that tell you. Put them against the Z06 to the Shelby GT 500. SS is will get blown away on both accounts.A 367 Hp doing 0-60 in 4.9 and a 305 in 4.8.... and is 111HP less. Hardly find that impressive for GM.

Ford complains everytime Chevrolet comes out with something better. So they scrounge up whatever they got to make it better, and guess what it didnt work.
